Hey there really been enjyniog this blog you sure keep busy!!!I wondered what you might recommend for the 5 gallon, food grade buckets, for grain, beans, etc., storage? I have the packs that remove the oxygen from the container once filled, and can seal the buckets with the more permanent lid, which requires a special tool to take off. Once opened though, a regular snap on lid would be used. (For reference; I got these through Pleasant Hill Grains, with the gamma lids & oxygen absorbers packets.)I think that I have four, 5 gallon buckets w/both style lids, that are empty. Another possibility would be using the mylar bags, storing several different choices in one bucket. (I have a heat sealer from an auction, but which I have not tried out yet.) Anyway, I know you are buying up bulk items, & I wondered what you like best and use the most of? I hope to have these all full as we head into the winter. I do have small hand powered grain mill, again, still in the box & never used, but would consider a better mill if needed. No hurry on this, know you have lots going on .keep up all the good work on this blog love it!!
